(really important in aerodynamics and such) Bernoulli distribution is also the most basic discrete probability distribution having two possible outcomes. n=0 (failure)and n=1(success) which p being probability of suceeess and 1-p of failure. some wonderful anecdotes here: i love reading about maths history. they fascinate me http://www-gap.dcs.st-and.ac.uk/~history/HistTopics/Brachistochrone.html "The well known de l'Hôpital's rule is contained in this calculus book and it is therefore a result of Johann Bernoulli. At a random sampling I found most had more than 5 per day so either yours is really exeptional or you are counting all of the ones listed as famous.
