Okay, so how does a 100 year old Swiss watch finish up in an unopened 400 year old tomb?

The best guess I've seen is that it was deposited by some sort of animal, a rat or some such.

Still...........

I love the outre.>:D

This story reminds me of finding a 'modern shoe' under the sphinx in Egypt. The shoe was identified as a French shoe left behind during a previous effort to study the sphinx.

My guess is that it was put there by somebody...

First of all: not everybody who opens a grave is a grave robber and/or archaeologist. Not every grave robber needs to leave a mess when they're done. Perhaps these grave robbers closed off the tomb again, or perhaps they didn't even steal anything.

How did they know it was unopened?

Maybe the person who had previously occupied that tomb lost track of time :D hahaha....Omg time puns! just playing though...

Perhaps the watch was left behind from swiss grave robbers or a previous archeological dig???

Thus its a mystery!

Clearly, these particular Chinese individuals were 300 years ahead of their time.

you mean to tell me that the chinese even invented swiss watches?

No, the Swiss copied the Chinese watches and sold them in mass quantities for far less money per watch. ;)

Next they'll find an unopened package of Swiss Miss chocolate under the body. Or maybe the body in the tomb is recent and hidden in the tomb by those upset that a fortune in gold was not found.

Likely just an event who's time has come
