MCAT curving scores

Featured Replies

This ones got me;

A buddy of mine said hes gona take the exam in the states, (we are from canada), cause he believes he can score higher there

this is based on two ideas

americans are less educated than canadians

the mcat is curved based on that specific exam

lets ignore the first argument of whos smarter (i dont wona start a forum war!) but the second statement got me wondering....what do you guys think?

If he needs to resort to tricks like that to get into med school, his chances are pretty low anyway.

thats beside the point...

I just thinking..this be a hole in the system..cause ppl could go too different countries to write their mcat

Bad necrobot! MCAT not Bar Exam. You'll pass either making such a basic mistake.

According to AAMC it isn't curved at all.

not sure I'd want to be worked on by someone graded on a curve anyways.  Just saying.

Well, how about basically all the other exams...?

Ideally no curves.

End up in game theory territory.
