I'm trying to find the following:

 

E. coli JM83

X-gal

Dimethylformamide

and IPTG

 

I've looked in WARDS catalog and couldnt find those, anyone know possible vendors in the U.S.?

why do you want these things?

maybe he wants to do an experiment w/ culturing and modifying the bacteria?

I should imagine E.coli would be a rather dangerous bacteria to cultivate myself.

JM83 is a commonly used one in genetics experiments i believe.

I ain't gonna argue, I've no qualifications in Biology. Apart from GCSE, and that was pretty useless, although we did do a little bit of biology.

Only certain strands are harmful, most of them are harmless. We all have E. Coli living in our intestines (yummy eh).
