btw i was looking for an actual answer not yes =P

like names???

Try mixing a solution of hydrochloric acid with sodium hydroxide. Heat is produced as a result (amongst other things).

Most chemical reactions produce heat as a result. Sometimes it is a small quantity, and sometimes the reaction is endothermic... but usually it is exothermic.

sometimes even just dissolving something causes heat to be given off. I once managed to boil a solution of NaOH just by making it.

According to wikipedia the reaction of calcium oxide and water produces 63.7kJ/mol of CaO. This reaction is more exothermic than the dissolution of NaOH which produces 44.5 kJ/mol, seen here
