Astronomy Terms

Featured Replies

does anyone know a space term that begins with the letter X? and does anyone have a proper definition for an Eagle Nebula?

X ray is a word i've come across alot, so thanks, but i'm looking for a space term that is like an object(ex. quasar, comet) or like a name of a moon or something of that sort. A science term that is interesting and has enogh info to write a few paragraphs on.

I don't really think theres any other astronomical terms beginning with X... google seems to agree.

thanks for the terms. the Xi one seems like a good one, but it doesnt seem like there's too much info on it. If you could find some info about the star X, please reply back. thanks
