Need Help With Oxygen Question

Featured Replies

Hey I need a really quick answer to this question:

Is there more or less oxygen in the air when near large bodies of water?

its more or less homogenous. there is little variation in ooxygen content through out the troposphere.

volcanoes and other major anomalies do exist though.

Yes but is that little variation a tiny bit lower or a tiny bit higher.

Please I really need an answer.

The annoyoing answer is probably "it depends".

If there is a lot of plant life in the water then the area will have more oxygen. If the water is stagnant and dead then there will be less. It's possible that some bodies of water will change depending on whether the sun is shining.
