your reaction would only hold true as Ions, you wouldn`t get sodium Metal though, in reality you would likely end up with sodium amide at best, and at worst just a mixture of the 2 you started with.

 

and btw, it`s not Balanced properly either (where would the extra N go for instance?)

2NH3 + NaOH ---> NH4OH + Na would really not work. not just because of the nature of the Na. However this would be alittle closer to the truth, but... NH4NO3 + NaOH <---> NH4OH + NaNO3 . I guess that should be correct if possible, i cant back it up yet.
