static electricity

How do you create a constant static charge to a rubber conveyor belt?

I need it in a large format, like for industrial use.

you simply need a HT generator and a brush to transfer the Electrons onto the surface, and then you have to ensure you have an Over-Voltage spark-gap (a ground rail will do) as this can build up Lethal charges on a large scale that can sometimes act unpredictably.

Have you looked at electrostatic precipitators for HVAC?

I will look into that. Thanks for the help. Any more input is welcomed.

The fact the belt already exists is a clue. Add the material strip to the edge off the belt. Experiment small scale.
