The total number of my posts, including this one, is 4. However as you can see in my profile it says 2. Why? How can i fix it? Thank you.

Posts in general discussion and maybe some of the other forums don't count toward your post count.

Well, I'm guessing this a science forum so the post count should show how much you have attributed to the science on the forum. General discussions, such as this, have nothing to do with science.

Posts in some areas do not count... for example General Discussions and possibly here too. I can't quite remember where it is and isn't.

 

Looking at your current posts I can conclude that posts in Politics do count and posts in GD and here to not.
