That film rocks. although a lot of americans that go to the same uni as me don't like it merely because in the film america is a country in a stateof civil war which is a daft reason to hate a movie

You should've read the graphic novel. I did, around 200 pages long, and a true epic. I think the movie deviates a bit, though.
