Plz let me no what u guyz think from experience or even hrd from others which AP Bio book is the best to score 4-5 on the AP exam.

 

Some of the best that ive heard are Cliffs and Princeton Review. Which 1 is the best?

 

If one is to study mainly only from these prep books, which one is recommended?

I've used princeton review, but I wouldn't say that helped me get a 5 on the test. you're best bet is getting copies of the old tests and learning what types of questions they ask and how they ask them.

You have to buy them directly from College board.

Just search on the internet... your bound to find a few old tests (google is great :)). Now, if anyone can answer my question.. what percentage do you approximately need to get a 5 on the AP chem test? (sorry about the thread hijack).

There are some tests at the college board website (I think) - I don;t think they're old tests.

 

APs are the equivalent to A-levels, right? -

 

Well, since 5 is the highest score on an AP, that would be the equivalent of an A grade at A-level.

 

To get an A grade in Chemistry requires about 70-75%.

 

Just out of interest - How many APs do US students take?

(UK Alevel students are required to do 4 but I heard that some US students take 10 APs)

Well, it depends on the student. Some students take as many AP classes as they can to impress the colleges. And some on the other hand take none.

This year I'm taking AP Computer science and AP Gov't and next year I'll be taking AP Calc.
