Is there a theory for "reality is in my head"

C9 is heavenly ?

Not according to L Cohen

"Now I've heard there was a secret chord
That David played, and it pleased the Lord
But you don't really care for music, do you?
It goes like this, the fourth, the fifth
The minor falls, the major lifts
The baffled king composing Hallelujah"

But beware, that D has only to slide up to Eb and you've gone full Norman Bates

Heh. Ah yes, the old minor triad major seventh matchup. I play that when the spouse walks in the door while I'm practicing. If she then pokes me in the ribs, I offer a lower register tritone.

Hadn't heard "berserker" applied to C11, but it is pretty dissonant if you don't take the third out.

It's the Cadd9 (CEGD) that's more bright and open and nicknamed a heaven chord. If you leave the Bb in there, straight C9, it's bluesier. More Leonard Coheny. Too complex for Heaven I'd imagine. 😉

C #11 is the lydian dominant form - CGBDF#. Pretty good shock chord depending on how it's voiced.

Afaik it has no common name but it brings to mind a bunch of screaming berserkers charging full tilt, axes raised. Wouldn't use it in a ballad.

What's the secret chord that makes people shit them selves (I know there is one, I saw it on 'Southpark')?

I'm pretty sure that would make it in a ballad, a thousand screaming berserkers in full retreat, doing the 'shit yourself waddle'... ☹️

The 'brown note' is something below 9Hz at ~150 dB. It might make you vomit. The rest is urban mythology.

Hellooo

Regularly I wonder if maybe the reality, the life i live, all i see, is generated by my mind

like in a dream -> i feel, see, communicate, but it's all in my head

is there a theory for that ?

ps: sorry i know wondering about this can be quite offending because i bring the idea that maybe you are not real (lol...)

an idea i have about this is that maybe somewhere else, in the real world, i enter this reaility (which would not be real in the end)

and i don't know it's not really real, on purpose, you intentionally forget

Maybe you forget because the real reality is horrible, maybe you are alone in there, and this reality is a way to escape

and maybe each time you die, you start again

😱

A wise person once posted the following to me.

Welcome back the ghost of Bishop Berkely.
