i should probably note that i have seen similar before.

 

[hide] the key is counting them ALOUD. your brain searches for the "fffff" sound. in the word "of" it makes a "vvv" sound so you forget to count it. if you got three you probably missed the three "of"s in the sentance.[/hide]

I've seen this during diversity training while working with a company I am no longer with. The phrase was different, but the principle is the same. Six "F's". Funny thing is, everybody missed the same words in my exercise, including me.

Oh yeah! Missed those "of"s. Funny how the brain works. Trickery and sorcery I say!
