Do we have any way of taming or measuring the dark matter? If so what’s the simplest way to have it said?

I am not sure what taming dark matter means.  We can measure the mass of dark matter by measuring its effect on a galaxies rotation (not sure how accurately).

It is measured by gravitational lensing existing where there are no gravitational bodies to account for it.

We've also seen shadows cast by hydrogen that ends up gravitationally attracted to it.

Like seeing the shadow of raindrops on a spider's web.
