A semi-infinite Schottky barrier

Featured Replies

Do exist some way to create near infinite energy barrier at the metal-p-type semiconductor interface? Possibly some quantum effect?

Is this question so difficult or simply rises no interest?

Probably no interest.  Seems like you are asking how to make a semiconductor into an insulator.  Why, what's the point?

For example, it could be useful for high-voltage Schottky diodes creation or solar cells with improved charge carriers separation.
