  1. Seriously? I have been trying to have an on topic discussion, while everyone else is avoiding arguing with my post. If anything, they should be the ones at fault for avoiding any argument with my post and going off topic.
  2. May I ask what evidence? It's rather difficult to describe or explain the observer in a way that everyone agrees with, although there should be some common understanding that you and I are both what could be described as observers/consciousness in some sense. It seems that I am not failing, seeing how none of my points are being addressed and are instead avoided.
  3. No, you're reporting me in a cowardly attempt to impact someone that you disagree with... Such behavior can only be described as cowardice. It's rather amusing that you would describe it as straw-man (you hardly seem to know what a straw-man is). It becomes laughable when you proceed to call me a "disgrace" as a result of my non-using logical fallacies on an argument in an internet forum...
  4. I suppose so... I only try to be reasonable...
  5. Not really, I'm not quite sure what you mean...
  6. What a pathetic attempt to try to pin something on me. It's quite dishonorable behavior to say the least.
  7. I'm only here to prove a point. My own personal bigotry is not what we are currently discussing.
  8. I'm only trying to use philosophical thinking in my arguments, though my reasoning is not always understood by others. Not my most recent arguments... I'm still waiting for a proper response on an earlier post in this thread.
  9. To make a point. Even logical people such as Einstein can be illogical sometimes. I have points to prove that are different than my own personal beliefs.
  10. I'm proving a point about how racism is treated. It seems like Einstein is being given a pass for his racist tendencies based on his status as a physicist.
  11. I'm only trying to find explanations for existence through reason and philosophical thinking.
  12. I meant to say that these qualities are associated with racist attitudes independent of time period
  13. It would make more sense if you would elaborate on your explanation. What about my most recent arguments? No one on this thread has had any real response to my recent post. I don't expect you to be any different, though I would like to see you try.
  14. I'm not necessarily using it to justify my own bigotry, I am showing how even logical people can be racists sometimes and have flaws in their thinking, even wuth a logical mind.
  15. You should know, you quoted it yourself. And here lies the problem: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Narcissism
  16. Yet another hand-waving dismissal without explanation...
  17. It doesn't matter what time periods it was, he is still exhibiting qualities associated with racist tendencies and attitudes.
  18. You've only dismissed me without any reasonable basis.
  19. He was still showing a tendency towards stereotyping and an affinity for finding differences between groups of people, which are qualities that are associated with racist thinking.
  20. And my argument still stands unchallenged.... It's a little early for you to run out of things to say... I suppose my argument remains...
  21. To say that such an observer does not exist is essential making the claim that "I" do not exist. Meaning, I would not be experiencing something because "I do not exist. I am clearly experiencing something, and so are you. I can't possibly not exist... There has to be some sort of conscious entity that is observing. Although, "I" is only a label for what "I" think that I am. It's not exactly well defined concept. However, we should be able to agree that the idea of a separate observer is supposed to be an attempt to represent something experiencing reality. I was making a point, not intending to claim that it was anyone's claim. Or they are simply not very good arguments... I actually tried to respond, I wasn't the one to start being nonsensical.
  22. What would be so noteworthy about such attitudes to Einstein that he decides to write it in his journal? He must have had some tenancies towards stereotyping if he thought it was worthwhile to write such in his notebook.
  23. I am only looking for the acknowledgment of Einstein's opinions as being this way and for it not to be excused.
  24. Or nobody has any counter arguments to my post.... It seems that I am right, unless anyone actually tries to respond to any of my points effectively.
