  1. Are you referring to Graphmatica?

Well, the TI83+ is fairly portable, whereas Graphmatica requires some piece of hardware to run it. :P

As far as features go, they're pretty much the same afaik.

  2. i also have a problem regarding calculus; the differential quotient states to make the limit of[delta]x 0 and then over that you put some other equation i cant remember. But if [delta']x has a limit of 0, doesnt that mean divinding this out will always give infinity? :S

    What is a differential quotient?

  3. Maybe you can check your school's Computing Services for some A/V software.

My school, as well as the University of Guelph allows their alumni to download, use, & update McAfee's VirusScan for free [well, maybe not free when tuition is counted in :P].

  4. Like dave said, unless you can prove your formula for all primes in general, it can't be called a proof.

If all you're doing is hard number crunching [like the GIMPS project], then it's not really a proof; just finding more primes.

I'm interested in your claim though ... any hints as to how you are going about these results? Mersenne numbers? or maybe Chebyshev said it, and I say it again. There is always a prime between n and 2n...

    [edit]

That's a nice link you posted there bloodhound.
