Are you referring to Graphmatica?
Well, the TI83+ is fairly portable, whereas Graphmatica requires some piece of hardware to run it.
As far as features go, they're pretty much the same afaik.

I'm running the UD agent, whose cause is similar to that of folding@home.
The difference is that it is run by the Chemistry department of Oxford University. Like you, I have a link on my signature.
Here's the old thread on UD: http://www.scienceforums.net/forums/showthread.php?t=4234&page=1&pp=20&highlight=ud+agent

can't use the f(x)=cosx
What's wrong?
How touse the degree sign?
Just use y = cos(x)
Degree sign? As in exponents?
x6 would be x^6

I find Graphmatica good for plotting 2D functions.
The input [instead of f(x) = ...] is y = ...
It's very self-explanatory. Just read the readme.

i also have a problem regarding calculus; the differential quotient states to make the limit of[delta]x 0 and then over that you put some other equation i cant remember. But if [delta']x has a limit of 0, doesnt that mean divinding this out will always give infinity? :S
What is a differential quotient?

http://www-gap.dcs.st-and.ac.uk/~history/HistTopics/Fermat's_last_theorem.html
Fermat's Last Theorem states that
xn + yn = zn
has no non-zero integer solutions for x, y and z when n > 2
What you did there is just the pythagorean triple of 3, 4 & 5

Maybe you can check your school's Computing Services for some A/V software.
My school, as well as the University of Guelph allows their alumni to download, use, & update McAfee's VirusScan for free [well, maybe not free when tuition is counted in ].

I don't understand what Freeman is saying...
Unless it's like Goldbach's Conjecture.

Like dave said, unless you can prove your formula for all primes in general, it can't be called a proof.
If all you're doing is hard number crunching [like the GIMPS project], then it's not really a proof; just finding more primes.
I'm interested in your claim though ... any hints as to how you are going about these results? Mersenne numbers? or maybe Chebyshev said it, and I say it again. There is always a prime between n and 2n...
[edit]
That's a nice link you posted there bloodhound.
