  1. I know, I was just stating for future references. My name is because I really like the Sandman comics, I realise now it does sound masculine with the "lord" in it. Am I cute?.. I guess that's just a matter of opinion.
  2. Theres lots of different books if you look around. Just go to a book store, there's usually a study/education type section. There's lots of Cliffs Notes and SAT books around those sections normally. I like using the internet SAT sample tests to study. They give me an idea of what to expect for when I actually do take it.
  3. I found an article here I'm sorry, I don't really know which types of fungicides are considered environmentally friendly, but there's a table for some different ones there. I hope it helps.
  4. I know. I'm sorry if I sounded a bit rude by saying that. I didn't intend to. I'd just like to clear that up. I realise that I am one of the few girls on this site.
  5. I know of some of the things you are talking about. I just don't exactly like it when people start getting rude, and call me ignorant. Sorry for stating my opinion and trying to learn about this subject. By the way, I'm a girl. Please don't call me "he".
  6. I said no. We could do so much more with the space program if our government just gave them proper funding.
  7. I guess when everyone told Galileo he was wrong about the earth revolving around the sun he should've just given up. After all he couldn't prove or disprove his theory. And what about Newton? People said he was wrong. And now his theories are laws. Should we really stop thinking about things because for the time being we can't prove or disprove it?.. Have you ever heard of an imagination' date=' or maybe you don't have one. Theories are unproven. So why do you feel you can prove my theory false by countering it with another theory. I used the dinosuars as an example because there are numerous theories about how they may have died. There's the meteor theory, yes... but there are many others. The magnetic field reversing for one... And there are many more. And you know everything I'm sure.
  8. Well, everyone's different. I barely saw my cousin as it was and I fear for him when he leaves. Especially since I know he serving in a pointless war started by our oil-hungry president. How does his injury have anything to do with Kerry's. All you are saying is: "Yes. People do get injured in wars." First I wouldn't call signing up for a service and then never showing up for your duty "serving". And also Clinton is the one who uses Raegan's way of thinking on economics and taxes. Which is: Give the rich more tax cuts. This way of thinking, I might add, was called "voodoo economics" by Bush's own father. And Clinton listened to the UN, that can be good. Unlike Bush who completely ignored them and went to war for reasons that weren't even true. And now all the other countries hate us.
  9. OK, that's kind of funny. I'm awful at baseball too. Maybe the aiming thing does effect some sports... Or maybe it's just a coincidence.
  10. I'm right handed, but left eye dominant. But I dunno about the aiming thing. I'm pretty good at archery.
  11. OK, I know theories have to be possible. But they are "theories" until they are proven beyond a doubt to be true, that is when they become "laws". If a theory is proved to be true it is no longer a theory, it is a law.
  12. These books do bear a lot of similarities with the real world sometimes. There was a book (Ludlem or Clancy I believe) where terrorists hijacked planes and drove them into American buildings. Sound familiar? Written a few years before 9/11.
  13. Those two would be one? What is that supposed to mean? They would be seperate universes. Understand that if there are things outside the universe, this universe would not be "everyrhing". To properly describe "everything" you would also need to include the things outside our own universe. Meaning: our universe would not be everything. Was it about blackholes? No! You didn't even read the first article I posted, the one I was talking about. The BBC one. You are not at all interested in wondering what other life forms would be like? Sometimes people think about things like that. I believe he was talking about the "bang-bang-bang" theory. In which the universe expands contracts and starts again. If people didn't think about such things how would we get theories like that?
  14. Besides white out... I don't know of anything.
  15. Did I ever say I was a scientist? Please tell me when I said that. Do you want me to find the bloody formula the scientist devoloped! I can find you numerous articles about the mathematical formula! I''ve already posted a link to one!
  16. First, I think that time is up for interptetation. And I think you brought up the argument on this thread.
  17. Time is not part of the universe. Time is endless. The universe is not.
  18. The universe is not everything!!! Prove that! Can you? It had a begining, will have an end, and is expanding (and some day will shrink). How can you say something that began and ended can be "Everything"?! What came before? What will come after? Something has to come after! There is no "nothing".
  19. Haha. Kansas. I don't even have a car of my own.
  20. What I was saying is how can we say there is nothing? How can we think that outside there universe there is simply "nothing". How do we know what's out there? We've never been there, we've never seen it. Can you prove there is "nothing" out there? Can you prove that before our universe there was "nothing", or that after our universe there will be "nothing". My point is if one universe came out of this "nothing", why couldn't others?
  21. I like lots of music. Dave Matthews, Pink Floyd, and the Rasmus are my favourites though.
  22. Heres some stuff on it: http://www.space.com/spacelibrary/books/library_rees_020104.html The thing is with our universe, it had a begining, and will have an end. It does not have an infinite ammount of space, it is not "forever". So why shouldn't there be other universes? In the "nothingness" outside our own universe, who's to say what's out there. And what about before our universe? And what about after it's gone? Can you honestly say there is nothing outside our own universe? That before and after our universe there was and will be nothing? Who are we to say things like this? No, I can't prove the multiverse theory. But can you give me proof that there is only one universe and could not be more?
  23. OK, that may be true for us, but what about the first man who thought up things like dragons? Were they logical for him? I'm not saying logic doesn't apply to some dreams and imaginative thoughts, but it doesn't always apply. And yet, I know I cannot fly. But I imagine that I can. Kids can imagine lots of things that aren't logical. I can imagine lots of things that are illogical. My drawings prove that. I have a few art works that I would be very surprised if anybody could find logic in them.
