  1. Arguing with a Christian is like playing chess with a pigeon. You could be the best chess player in the world but the pigeon will still knock over all the pieces, shit on the board, and strut around triumphantly.

  6. Scientific methods are the systematic procedures and techniques used for (i) the description, analysis, and synthesis of parts of the observable universe and their transformations, (ii) the recording and organization of the acquired accumulative knowledge into testable formalisms and methods, and (iii) the dissemination of this knowledge. These methods have resulted in the technological leaps made by advanced societies. http://juanrga.com/en/knowledge/scientific-methods.html

I found an *invisible* Twitter widget. Realized I had to add juanrga.com to my whitelist... Why are you using a Twitter widget?

Nice! This is interesting, but I would enjoy an expanded context regarding various matters of scientific philosophy in general.

  10. Catalytic prompts are good, but I don't like provocation that frequents to the effect of an ideological movement mostly constituted by inappropriately unconcious devotees.

  13. I'm friends with Daniel Dennet on facebook now! Actually talking to him about what I think about the educational system and how turning it into emotional therapy for elementary school kids would give us more rational adults. He doesn't seem to like the idea but maybe i'll clarify some things and change his mind. Feeling full of hope right now!

  15. RIDICULOUS FACEBOOK PERCENTAGESIt is said that girls use facebook more, a statement i don't agree with, for the following reasons;almost 90% of posts on a girl's wall aren't hers. About 60% are from facebook e.g "jane doe is now friends with john doe"(there're quite a lot of these considering some of them have 5000 friends). The other 30% are from their friends(25% guys{24% of whom they don't know and 1% they know} and 5% girls). This leaves 10% as their actual posts.

Well yeah, it's a cool thought. I'm not sure if I'm all for the preliminary theory behind it (involving black-holes) -- though I'm not really the right one to seriously judge such theories anyway.

Never heard of it. More info? I want to remain typing in this box, and then visit some where else. I'm too lazy to venture off my planned web-surfing to utilize a search engine, which would disturb my worthless journey.
