  1. Thanks swansont: that's what I needed to know.
  2. What do you mean by "bump what you are measuring"
  3. I'm having trouble understanding a basic concept of quantum theory, in particular the uncertainty principle: why does when one tries to figure out the mass of a particle is one not then able to find the velocity or likewise?
  4. People writing articles on Wiki may not be as qualified, and, even if they are you can't fully know because you don't know who the actual person is that's writing the article.
  5. A lot of the reasons people do this is usually not very direct. Most of the time it may be stress, failure, ect. Also, some parents are just not rational because of illness, or speical needs. Like people said above; there's a big difference between a smack and 40 lashes.
  6. Sorry about that north I guess I didn't really look over what I was writing..
  7. Of course. You should never fully base your work off of only one source.
  8. All I was trying to say is that time cannot move an object on its own.
  9. Time cannot move stilled objects itself, but with the help of space and maybe something like gravity, it is very easy to move objects.
  10. I'm not sure what you mean by that; but, I guess I should have been more specific. What I meant to say was; does Wikipedia give the correct information most of the time? Or, would you be willing to use Wiki as one of your sources in a paper?
  11. At my school, they don't allow Wiki as a viable source. Do you think it's trustworthy?
  12. Ok I get it, the numbers are infinitely small.
