  1. In iodometric titration, why do we add the starch solution when it is close to the end point instead of pouring it at first?
  2. Does the molar volume of a given quantity of gas depend on the type of gas?
  3. Does that mean creating folders, named CD1, CD2,CD3,CD4?
  4. I don't consider myself an environmentalist and before checking the poll, I thought most votes were delivered to the "You are not an environmentalist and you grew up in the city " The fact rejects it. I am quite happy.
  5. Recently, I downloaded a very old game which is of 4 ISO form. I wanna burn them on a DVD as I want to play it later. How can I pack 4 CDs into a DVD? I am not adroit at this kind of job.
  6. ok I am clear about it
  7. Given, [Math]S=x^{3}y^{2}z[/Math] and [Math]x+y+z=1[/Math] Determine the greatest value of S. How do we start this type of question? I started with [Math]S=xxxyyz[/Math]where there are six terms; used AM-GM and found that x=y=z, I know it's wrong, but why? Then I think it occurs because there's no limits of them. Therefore, I sub [Math]z=1-x-y[/Math] So [Math]S=(1-x-y)(x^{3}y^{2})[/Math] But there's no clear solution for me. What should I do next?

  9. Here is a rather tough problem for me. I appreciate any suggestion for the solution from any of you cause I really don't have any idea.
  10. Oh, now I checked with another software. It told me that the speed is 533, my previous software must have a great deal of faults. Thanks everyone
  11. Recently, I checked my computer with a software and found that the speed of my ram is 233 which does not match with that given by Dell. I'm going to check it again, but this time with another software. I couldn't find it though, do you have any suggestion?
  12. OK. Thanks for telling me that prove is poorly written. I am going to seek a better one. Do you know where I can find it?
  13. Thanks for your help first. Here I cut a short passage from a lecture from a local university. I highlighted the part which shows that the prove assumes that the "incorrect" form. Why can it lead to a more complicated solution?
  14. For sequence' a n = a n-1 + a n-2 We first assume that a n has a general form of b^n. Then, we put it into the sequence equation and get a quadratic one. It will be ok for me if the final solution for the a n be that form. But normally, if there exists two different roots, the final solution indeed is in the form of (C b^n + D f^n) where they are arbitrarily assigned. Why do we assume the incorrect form but getting the correct answer? Any comments Please!
  15. Adobe reader professional also provides a function to turn most of the formats into pdf. However, it is not free.
  16. I have something to add in here. I suggest ewido anti-spyware, it offers a full scan and removal of virus for unregistered users. It also provides daily update. Every time my computer is scanned with it, a list of several trackers are found.
  17. Now 3^6=1 (mod7), let 3^a=1 (mod 49) What can you think about a? In my mind, it is that a= 6t, where t is an integer. so I tried to put the multiple of 6t with the last being 48. and found that a=42. I tried many other cases, and with the premise which is put in the bold, found the solution. I don't know how to prove the premise, can you suggest one method?
  18. I got a notes but have difficulty in interpreting all the material there. Later give you. It's about using Vieta's formula and Newton-Girard Formula to prove/find the general solution of sequence? I'v read some other material but most didn't give me a clear concept as they don't have relevant detail. The closer one is telling that the general solution for one linear equation and two equations. How can I find that of three?
  19. sorry it is g(x+y) for the left-hand side
  20. Suppose 3^4=1 ( mod 5 ) Because (3,5)=1 so we have 3^h=1 (mod 25) where 4 l h are the steps correct?

    Co2

Both. However, for oxygen, it is mainly in the form of oxyhaemoglobin. A considerable part of dissolved carbon dioxide is converted into carbon acid. I would say it is the hydrogencarbonate ion that is responsible for the transport.
  22. f(x+y)= f(x)f(y) If we take log for both sides, we have g(x)= g(x) + g(y) by letting g=log f Then, after a series of calculation and checking, we have f(x)= a^ (cx) I have a few questions dealing with the log. Can I choose any base, for example 10? Must a=e where it is the natural log.? Last, I am confused with the use of fixed point, or perhaps I even don't know the complete definiton of me, hence, finding myself incapable of doing this kind of calculations. EDIT: I am very interested and enthusiastic for functional equation. However, I can't find any books related to this topic or subtopic. I've checked algebra, statistics. Does it belong to Discrete maths or analysis or other areas?
  23. I mean if the power exists, then it is divisible by d, where d is the minimum power that satisfies.
