why the hell were the indo-europeans so influential in the development of modern language? i can understand latin(roman empire and then recycled by french).

I had to learn sanskrit in school. it's utter hell. Luckily I moved to UK, before I had to take any exams on it.

the graph of x^x is weird. its alrite for positive values of x. not defined at 0, but tends to 1 as x tends ti 0 from the right. its alrite for negative integers. but for negative numbers like -1/2. we have (-1/2)^(-1/2) . which is is 1 over the square root if a negative number. which is not it ]R

Its due to the uniqueness of inverses in the group. if you take the multiplicative group R*. 3 (1/3) = 1 which is the identity. there fore the multiplicative inverse of 3 which is denoted by 3^-1 = 1/3

I would definitely go with VirtualDub or VirtualDubMod ( modified to be compatible with stuff like .ogm and .mkv) Both are open source. Handy for creating .avi's , splitting them , joining up and many other advanced stuff. You can also add your subtitles to avi using the textsub filter. First you will have to learn up how to create .srt or .ssa subtitles.

For most your stuff. VitrualDub will definitely get the job done.

i dont know about that. when u insert an audio cd. all the listings are downloaded from db sites like freedb or cddb.

that example is not similar at all!! did u even read the article! in ur example i can hover over the link and see where it points to. or right click the link and then view properties...

but the this scam exploits the fact that certain letters will have different codes in different character sets.. so to use it may look like http://www.ebay.com even if you check if the link actually points to the correct side.... but to the computer it will be completely different as the various letters with a diferent code from a different character set....
