There is no allele for Down's. Down's is one of the conditions amniocentesis detects.
But, if there is a mutation in the gene, which causes Down's. Wouldn't that allele be passed on? As let's say one parent has a normal allele and the other parent has the allele for down's, the child would have down's symdrone as the child obtains one allele from one and second allele from the other parent? When it mates, it passes on to the child isn't it???
Although changes are that the person infected with Down's Sydrome would be unlike to reproduce. as he would probably die at young age.

Hint: it is placed outdoors.

It definitely looks like some kind of heat exchange baffle.
Very close. Guess the appliance.

By don't move i meant it in a general term as that they dont move nearly as quickly as animals
Also' date=' are there absolutely no photosynthetic motile (no plants) multi-cellular organism?[/quote']
No there is. maybe not multi-cellular. but uni-cellular. can't remember off-hand.
i think it is called autotrophic something???

about a lot of stuff that I thought would "ruin my life". My husband used to do the same thing. We would nag each other and argue over things. One morning I woke up and he was DEAD.
It changed my perspective about what to worry about and what not to worry about entirely. I wish I could have known how unimportant some of the things I stressed over really were.
that's really scary. Sorry to hear that. how did he actually die?
Well, whenever i am down but when i see someone worse off than me, i seem to get a bit of comfort out of it. That's quite werid.

i can try answering question 3. The ans are solely based on memory. If you want detailed answers. check the textbook.
3. Explain how a nerve impulse moves from one nerve cell to another
For a nerve impulse to be stimulated, there must be a stimulus. The impulses travel from the sensory neurone to the relay neurone via a synapse.* The relay neurone which maybe lying in the spinal cord or brain, transports the information to the central nervous system. Then, the spinal cord or brain creates an effect to the stimulus which is carried by the relay nuerone to the effector nuerone, whereby the effect is carried out by the effector organ.
This nervous pathway is called a reflex arc.
Additional info. the structure of a neurone.
Towards the cell-body of the neurone: dendron
Away from the cell body of the neurone: axon
the ends where a synapse takes place: dendrites
(the information maybe needed. to show how a nerve impulse move in a neurone.)
Maybe you wish to say how much marks it is worth? So, we know how much to put in?

Your difficulty in focusing may or may not be due to states of arousal. It could just as easily be due to a short attention span' date=' where your attention wanders from the subject/object after a short period of time. I takes effort to bring it back, but it gets easier over time.[/quote']
i assumes that is the part of the will?
Thank you glider for the explanations. It is very much appreciated.

a painting? the hint does really help though. is it related to science?

do have any idea, what selective membrane is used in a dialysis? Or could it be just the visking tubing?

Attention is directed by arousal' date=' but concentration is more often disrupted by it.[/quote']
So, attention-span and concentration mean 2 different things?
IS there anyway, you can "un-heighten" the emotional arousal? Cause i have difficulties focusing.

Usually small molecules, like glucose
Oh. i don't think so. Would you also consider sucrose?
Or maybe is that the reason why glucose solutions are not used. instead, sucrose?

hints? my brain is kind of wrecked.

i wonder how you cross the road.

yeah. i think eventually time would bury these negative energies.

Yes. It is poisonous and it forms a stable compound. I just thought that CO just reduces inefficiency of oxygen transport and that it "WOULD" (my guess) eventually be destroyed by the spleen, but i didn't know that it decomposes the haemoglobin.

carbon monoxide (CO) decomposes hemoglobin, not carbon.
Oops. i missed out the dioxide. care to explain this pheonomeon?

wah. this is very interesting. can we deem "heightened states of arousal" as concentration?
And is concentration somewhat linked to our emotions?

Point Learned. Somethings things are just out of our control. The more you want it to happen, the more it won't. However, when you don't want it to happen, it happens. LIfe is a paradox man. I still can't understand it.
At least i know that my depression has gone hiding.
Now, i am better at letting go of things. Going back to my old cheerful self.
You know, i REALLY appreciate all your advices. It's been a moral booster. THANK YOU ALL !!!
