Air India Flight 171 - Focus On Fuel Switches
Mr. Swansont , Currently my ability to introduce Links and Photos is compromised . The inability to transfer in photos of Links is actually the most crippling , especially for voluminous ones . I need some pointers on how to best access these functions . 🤔 *Reference Video below : - ^ Air India 171 : New Report Data Reveals RAT Deploy Timestamp ^ youtube.com/watch?v=SgAFZNkkNKw&si=TKu8scOb-j6377Hb

Cosmological-Coupling (split from Dark matter, energy, Hubble Tension solved?)
🤓 Hello Cosmo-Folk ! All three of the subjects in the Thread Title are interrelated ; the binding element now appears to be Cosmological-Coupling . The essence of C-C is that incredibly extreme compression of matter-energy seems to result in the generation of Dark-Energy . If we accept that D-E itself may have mass (as energy tends to) , then we apparently have a primal source for both Dark-Energy and Dark-Matter , particularly if we consider the initial"Cosmic-Egg" to have been a super-compression well beyond any black-hole . The issue of the Hubble Tension does resolve itself IF one accepts that... as the Universe aged , it also accrued ever more Dark-Energy . However , it did this at varying rates , depending upon how much black-hole formation and feeding was going on at any particular time . Additionally , the quantity and distribution of B-Hs was also a major factor , this contributing to an uneven universal expansion within different regions.

Air India Flight 171 - Focus On Fuel Switches
🧐 Hello plane-folk ! After exhaustive forensic and psychological examination , the involved investigative authorities appear to be leaning towards pilot malfeasance as the cause . It appears that the Pilot-Monitoring had his right-hand in proper position behind the throttles , then dropped it down and toggled both switches to the off position . The above apparently caused the Pilot-Flying to question/argue with him , causing the P-M to belatedly undo his actions , but it was too late .

Astronomers Have Found Home of Missing Matter
Hallo again ! Although my commentary is primarily aimed at addressing the Thread Title , I will elucidate about those two questions : "What prevents the particles from being detected ?" , and "What makes them slow down ?" . The former is a non sequitur , as they already HAVE been detected . The latter is answered effectively above as regards particle collisions . I will add that the Universe’s expansion apparently adds to the cool-down much as expanding a volume of gas cools IT down . Now in regards to your Solar-Wind versus atmosphere question : they BOTH mitigate cosmic-rays , with the atmosphere being the more effective of the two . I am confident that you are capable of searching up "Cosmic-ray attenuation" , but I will shortly add a link anyway . nasa.com/cosmic-rays-vs-solar-wind *Use "Inquiries" Link at bottom of page . 🤓 Hello once more ! Here is a screenshot augmenting what is presented at the NASA search site .

Astronomers Have Found Home of Missing Matter
🤓 Physics-Fans ! Though rare , over great stretches of time relativistic particles will eventually collide with other particles . A good example of the above process is cosmic-rays entering the Solar-System and colliding with solar-wind particles . This slows down and seriously mitigates the severity of said cosmic-rays . *It is indeed possible that someone previously thought of the idea presented by me above ; I just never heard of it before , so... figure of speech .

Higher thrust and efficiency turbofan engines for low-wing aircraft .
🤓 Actually gentlemen , I was hoping for quality critiques or commentary from folks who could understand my proposal .

Higher thrust and efficiency turbofan engines for low-wing aircraft .
How can higher bypass-ratio turbofans be fitted to conventional planforms of low-wing design ? This question has gained great importance within the air-travel industry in recent years , primarily because of the financial impact greater fuel-efficiency can have upon an airline's profit margin . Prior to now , the standard answer was to install wider engines , this in spite of the significant modifications necessary to fit such to aircraft originally designed for much narrower ones . The drawbacks of this approach are numerous , and involve components such as landing-gear , fuselages , wing-structures , engine-mounts , and even avionics and cockpit layouts . The B.737-Max debacle was a perfect example of how such gerrymandering can go astray , with devastating and possibly lethal consequences . The most practical answer here is not tail-mounted giant turbofans , or blown-wing architectures , but rather compound dual-fan designs . These would basically be extant turbofan designs , with an add-on free-turbine fan mounted on the rear . Such engines would sacrifice some of the gas-turbine core's turbojet thrust in order to produce much more fan thrust . Making the two fan-disks contra-rotating would give such an engine as much as 30% more thrust while engendering overall efficiency increases of ~ 20% . *The easiest way to visualize this is to search up cutaway images of the General Electric CJ-805-23 engine , this turbofan having been utilized on the Convair 990 airliner for many years .

Astronomers Have Found Home of Missing Matter
Mr. DrmDoc , You are correct in that that article APPEARS to conflate/mangle the percentage for Dark-Energy in the Universe . Even if it means ONLY baryonic-matter , it is confusing . Now about that surprise ; it is one because no one had a theory proposing such . However , there is a possible explanation . The energetic components of the Universe have always emitted enormous quantities of particle radiation . These start out moving at extremely high speeds , but slow down over great stretches of time . Eventually , they "cool down" and become the sea of atomic particles (gas) observed by astronomers .

How can we inhabit Mars ?
Mr. Exchemist , although we have yet to experiment with low-gravity medicine , logic and theorization indicate that many surgical procedures and orthopedic treatment regimens would enjoy reduced strain and potential for tissue damage if the patient were operated upon in 38% gravity , then pursued their recovery in it also . This would be especially helpful for elderly , sickly , and obese persons . Some individuals might even be incapable of returning to full gravity afterwards , and thus would become members of the alternative-living community . The tourism , sports , and art elements are self-explanatory , as they are huge money-makers even here on Earth . In the end , it's simply a matter of ROI ; if the up-front investment is small enough , then investors will leap tall buildings to grab that profit ! **At present ? OBSCENE ! 🤯

How can we inhabit Mars ?
Good points Mr. Swanson , however... I was speaking of the near-future , and presuming that space technology continued to advance at it's current pace . BTW - The "fracking" example is addressing the capability to pressurize underground spaces , although subterranean caves would be easy by comparison .

How can we inhabit Mars ?
Mr.Exchemist&Mr.Swanson , we do already have the technology for deep excavation and pressurization . Both the ancient city of Derinkyu and the Greenland A.F. Base "Camp Century" are examples of this , along with a multitude of deep mining-caverns and of course deep-fracking . True , it would not be cost-effective to mine anything on Mars and transport it back to Earth . However , space-tourism , space-produced art , music , ballet , and sports performances would be unique , and resultingly priceless . Added to this would be low-gravity medical treatment and recovery , along with the inevitable alternative-living and retirement communities , and you have a surprisingly robust economic base for a Martian society.

How can we inhabit Mars ?
Settling the planet Mars , what is the best way to go about this ? Should we build thousands of giant domes , live in lava-tubes , or terraform this heavenly body ? I hereby suggest that the best and only workable paradigm for achieving this is that of paraterraforming ; particularly subterranean living . The qualifier here is that these abodes can be constructed not only in lava-tubes, but in the many other types of caves which are present within the crusts of planets which have been subjected to powerful and long-term hydrological and volcanic actions . Examples of the above include sea-caves, Karst-caves , ice-caves , and even giant-overhangs . These natural formations could , and doubtless would , be augmented and eventually supplanted by man-made constructions . Given that Mars's crust is frozen to great depth , it is likely that there would be no difficulties arising from the pressures generated by underground water-tables . This means that more area would be available for habitation on Mars than is available on all the continents of Earth . The resources necessary to enable the survival of humans on Mars do exist there already , but will require technology and hard work to extract for use . Water , minerals/metals , and even energy will all need to be mined , transported , processed and stored using specialized systems and technologies custom-made to function in the harsh environment of the Red Planet . *Ever advancing technology is likely to make the above achievable before too long , but the preparedness of mankind is quite another question .

Quantum Chorton Framework(QCF)
Mr. Dillon, It seems that you are suggesting that space itself is a field-of-force (ex.: magnetism) emitted by these "Chorton" particles . IF this is true would you agree that space contains a significant portion of the initial energy released by the Big-Bang ? Alright then , as an aside , do you adjudge this energy to be recoverable , and if so , at what cost ?
-
Mars magnetic field (split from Mars and the dim sun paradox)
Yes , it did . However , there are still pockets of REMNANT magnetism (basically permanent-magnets) embedded in the planet's crust . These are relatively small , but some still have field-strengths well above that present at Earth’s surface .
-
Space Expansion, wavelength and energy density
Sure , From the standpoint of the emitting body (not the visual appearance) , the photon is now rocketing away at many times the speed of light . The energy to to that COULD be seen as being taken from that composing the photon itself , thus conservation of energy is satisfied .

If Earth orbited Jupiter at Moon distance
However... , The cost of that extreme tidal-heating and voluminous volcanism would be a rapid slowdown in planetary rotation , with tide-lock occurring within 10-million years at most . The lack of high-energy electromagnetic radiation would minimize atmospheric-stripping , this preventing the total removal of the displaced Earth’s oceans . These would soon freeze , as the tidal-heating and volcanism diminished . The planet's atmosphere would however , slowly be removed by the particle-radiation driven process of "sputtering". A giant Europa would be the end result.
