  1. No my point his how americans portray us brits incorrectly, and i use the die hard example to point them out.

    Your right they do, but it's only a sterotype for a film.

    Out of curiosity (and this isn't trying to be funny), how would you have the british protrayed?

    I know that when an Irish guy is protrayed in a film he's got the worst accent ever and he is always, always drunk!

  2. I'm guessing that the series has to do with the number of 0's and 1's in series

    i.e. one 1, followed by one 0, followed by three 1's, followed by1 0, followed by five 1's.......etc???

    still stumped though so could you provide the next few numerals?

  3. Happens to me all the time.

    The other person has completly forgotten what ye were talking about and you just turn around and call out his name!!

    When someone's name is on the top of your tongue but you can't remember it, I think it helps to stop talking about it. Instead of concentrating too hard on the guys name, you should relax your mind and it will come too you eventualy.

    Nothing too chemical about remembering stuff here!! :D

  4. Your right there Martin alright.

    I second your motion on quick sliver posting some puzzles, if he has some. I enjoy puzzles, both word and number, and I think there is a severe lack of them on this site at the moment.

    I'm more of a solver of puzzles rather than a thinker of puzzles!!

  5. I want to vote for Labour at the upcoming election, though I haven't decided yet: not becasue I disagree with the party, but I disagree with the candidate. He is one of the "rebels" and seems to vote agaisnt the Government for anyhing I support, so really a vote for him is a vote agaisnt the Labour party.

    You've got to weigh up which option is better, a vote for a 'rebel' but also a vote for labour or a vote for someone else.

    Personally, I vote for the guy that will do the best for my area in terms of unemployment, reduce crime etc. Maybe this 'rebel' is only looking out for your area or maybe he's just a pain the ...!! anyway, the choice is up to you

    The election date has been set for the May 5th.

  6. Daddy, how was I born ? Ah, very well, one day you need to find out anyway! Mom and Dad got together in a chat room on MSN. Dad set up a date via e-mail with your Mom and we met at a cyber cafe. We snuck into a secludes room, and then your mother downloaded from your dad's memory stick. As soon as dad was ready for an upload, it was discovered that neither one of us had used a firewall. Since it was too late to hit the delete button, nine months later the blessed virus appeared. And that's the story.

    lol hilarious. I think you mean SFN and not MSN though!!

  7. so:

    IQ = mental age / actual age * 100

    and for me (approx):

    140 = mental age / 15 * 100

    140 = mental age / 1500

    therefore:

    mental age = 140 * 1500

    mental age = 210' date='000

    [u']That can't be right!!![/u]

    It isn't right!

    I believe the formula is

    IQ = (mental age / actual age) * 100

    so:140 = (mental age / 15) * 100

    1.4 = mental age / 15

    implies mentale age = 21

    damn it! that's the same age as me!!
