  1. How humbling a topic, not being touched by this in day to day life ,I never even considered the idea of people being born both deaf/blind.

Katherine i think the Hellen Keller story, show that unless there are serious problems in the fetus's development(severely retarded). The brain can be properly developed and awaiting stimuli.I feel the helpers and people afflicted this way are remarkable people.

    Thankyou

  2. If your going to correct someone Ophiolite,be correct!

The reigning monarch is the 'Supreme Governor of the C of E'

The symbolic head is the Archbishop of Canterbury.

Jesus Christ is the head of the church. He is the only Mediator, High Priest & Head of the Church. The interjection of anyone else between God & man has no biblical basis.

" For there is one God and one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus-."

    (1 Timothy 2:5)

    I think thats correct:-)

  3. Gamefreak,I stated earlier in the thread, that the author. In order to arrive at his final theory was using expansion theory.Perhaps if you were to read about that first, you would better understand the authors work.

  4. To clarify my answer to Apocalypse question.

I understand the confusion that in arctic regions there is up to 18hours daylight up to 6 months of the year. However there is no contradiction, summer solstice is factually the longest day wherever you are Northern/southern hemisphere.Only the months change.

If you are in the arctic, you just happen to get even more daylight(19hrs 22 min,june21,2004)

  5. Another thing: Why did you feel it necessary to come out of the woodwork, to reveal (rudely) your opinion about me? Did I do something to you in the past? Have any of my posts ever offended you?

:embarass: Sorry Hellbender, though i have never called you stupid.I am out of order.I took exception to the way you flippantly dismiss others posters opinions,in a few threads. The fault lies with me and my perceptions of you, which on the whole are not justified.

I tend to view people as wrong not idiots(and offer help whenever i can) and everyone deserves respect.A few are young here and that should be taken into consideration, when compiling you rebuttals.

I hope this apology in someway, makes up for the animosity i have shown you.And forgive my injudicious replies to you. :embarass:

  6. I'm not so sure that 'BLERT' is a word. It is an Acronym, but not a word. (According to any dictionary's I have access too. BLURT is a word, but not BLERT). Also, BLAKE is a proper name and not a word. However, it is in the dictionary so I guess that one would have to work.

Aww thats nitpicking,so its an acronym.I still done it in six,and in 5 mins.Dont i get some back slapping off my buddies.

You know by now im childish and crave the attention of my peers :D

  7. In other threads, you've played the "as long as it's the law, it's not for us to decide" card when it supported your beliefs. What has changed? As long as a business falls under the jurisdiction of federal and state commerce regulations, the public looks to the government to protect their interests.

I cannot believe you have just said that to syntax.Wether its mutual or not, when i discuss things with you,i respect your views. You come across as someone down to earth, above childish power farts(dont abuse your status as moderator).

It reflects badly on yourself to bring up other threads as a defence for your argument, when you have been guilty of contradicting yourself as well. For instance your stance in saying government should not force any religious bias on its population,at the same time your all for government instructing companies who should/should not be employed.

TBH syntax shows consistency, which you dont.

Im not defending syntax so much, but i am bringing to your attention, the fact that im dissapointed in you.

As i said regardless of mutual appraisal,i didnt expect such comments from one i respect

  8. I could imagine dolphins like orcas being dangerous' date=' but not bottlenose or common dolphins, I would love to be in the water with them. Orcas kind of scare me though.

Its also hard for people to anthropomorphisize sharks. They aren't mammals, they don't communicate and they known to be dangerous, eating machines. To be honest, I would rather be in the water with a dolphin than a bull shark, no matter how much I love sharks. I could understand why people wouldn't care if they all were killed off, until there was an ecological disaster. Maybe Disney movies like "A Shark's Tale" could be good for something?[/quote']

I dont mean to be impolite, but your posts shows you nothing about dolphins, and even less about sharks.

On the whole i find you a much better insulter than a contributer, perhaps you should stick to what you excell at.

  9. No' date=' you [u']hope[/u] they will... you cannot say for certain because you do not know for certain what the problem is!

Could be a virus or file corruption (which whilst normally malware could be a physical corruption on the disk or sumin which is super unlikely but not totaly impossible)

No sorry 5614,I can say because i do know that it will cure his problem,he has spyware!.

Its up to him what he chooses to do,we can only suggest the course of action.

Ecoli never asked for your opinion on my opinion did he,I thought the idea was to offer help to him.

But if i need your help on wording my posts in future i will run them by you first eh,if thats alright

  10. I have adaware...do you think I need something else?

webroot spy sweeper is really good as well.

Ad-aware on its own is pretty crap,it doesnt find everything. You need more protection, the programs ive suggested will sort your problem out.I cannot add more than i have already

  11. That's if you define 'day' as the number of hours in which the sun is present, which depending on where you live can be up to 6 months. If you define 'day' as the time it takes for a full revolution of the Earth, then I'm not sure exactly when that is. (The 'day' you are defining Newtonian is caused by the tilt of the earth on its axis as it moves around the sun).

    There's always one ;)

  12. Your friends wrong,your right.

In the northern half of the world, June 21st is the first day of summer and the longest day of the year. (Actually, summer "arrives" at 0148 UT on June 21st, which is 9:48 ET June 20th, so the solstice occurs during the night of the 20th,the 21st is still the first full day of summer.

To the south, across the equator, winter arrives.June 21st will be the shortest day of the year. The coldest weather of the year is on its way, and winter sports are prepared for.

Again in the north the vernal equinox(12 hours day /night)begins around March20,first day of spring here, autumn south of the equator.

Thats about my limit,so i hope ive armed you with enough info to beat your friend up with :)
