I`ve made what seems to be a great rocket fuel!, for solid rocket motors (model), the only problem is that it detonates I need a binder/regulator to make it Viable. I`ve tried plasticising it (Blu-Tak and petrol, then collect the liquid when the grit drops out) that just makes a plastic explosive I`ve tried solidifying it in Styrene, but then it doesn`t burn reliably is too much used, and not enough and crumbles or blows up maybe a good idea to add this: DDT= Deflagration to Detonation Transition. any ideas?

Prompt please where it is possible to find algorithm of the numerical decision of stochastic Shrodinger equation with casual potential having zero average and delta – correlated in space and time? The equation: i*a*dF/dt b*nabla*F-U*F=0 where i - imaginary unit, d/dt - partial differential on time, F=F (x, t) - required complex function, nabla - Laplas operator, U=U (x, t)- stochastic potential. Delta-correlated potential <U(x,t)U(x`,t`)>=A*delta(x-x`) *delta(t-t`) . where delta - delta-function of Dirack, A – const, <> - simbol of average, Zero average: <U(x,t)>=0 Gaussian distributed …

Tell please, whether the numerical decision stochastic Schrodinger equation is applied in chemistry? For my purpose it is necessary to decide Schrodinger equations with casual potential for system of many particles and to calculate some average with the found wave function . I plan to write the appropriate program. But can be similar programs already exist? For example, there can - be some programs of molecular dynamics can solve Scredinger equation for system of many particles with casual potential (or without casual potential, but with an opportunity to program it)? Whether somebody knows about the similar programs?

Research Scientist - Watertown, MA I am assisting to recruit a Research Scientist and a Senior Research Scientist for a client in Watertown, MA. Here is more information: Their expertise focuses in areas such as transition metal catalysis, stereoselective synthesis, medicinal and combinatorial chemistry give us the power to discover and develop new chemical entities which hold the promise for tomorrows drugs. Primary Responsibilities: Strong synthetic knowledge and skills to carry out chemical research and development, to identify and to implement viable process for key intermediates and drug candidates to a kilo-lab and pilot-plant scale. Specific Assig…

Dear Forum Members, I find the difference in the absorbance values of a Monomer and Dimer of the same compound. Why is it so? The Dimer absorbance by UV is exactly half that of the Monomer. Any conclusions......

The theoretical limit of resolution for electron microscopes d = .61:lclambda: / n*sin( :alpha: ) | :lclambda: = h/(mv), n=0 (refractive index, EM uses a vacuum, :alpha: = angle. Plug everything in and you get .005nm. But as everyone knows, the EM can't produce images at that resolution because of constraints on the traditional lensing used to collect and produce the image, this makes the practical limit of resolution 1.5nm. What I propose is that the full limit of resolution by an EM will be realized, what ideas do you all have for ways to overcome or go around the factors that account for the large difference between theoretical and practical limits of resolution? …

I am doing an ice fishing lab for a project where you float an ice cube in water, put a cotton string on the ice cube, and sprinkle salt on the string so it sticks to the ice cube, making it able to be picked up.-- I am supposed to research all I can about every little aspect of the project, but there is some of it that I just do not seem to understand. I know that NaCl is supposed to disrupt "the" equilibrium somehow, but I am not sure if it is just that the rate of state changes is disrupted or if there is something else I haven't found by research that could be "the" equilibrium. Could "the equilibrium" be referring to anything else? Also, I tried the experimen…

The chelate CuQ2- exhibits max absorbance at 580nm. When chelating agent is present in 5 fold excess , the absorbance is dependent only upon the concentration of Cu and obeys beer law over a wide range. Neither Cu or Q absorbs at 580nm. A solution that is 1.40 x 10-4 M in Cu2+ and 6.20 x 10-4 M in Q2- has an absorbance of 0.580 in a 1.00 cm cell at 580 nm. Under the same conditions, a solution that is 1.40 x 10-4 M in Cu2+ and 3.00 10-4 M in Q2 has an absorbance of 0.410. Calculate the formation constant for the process. Cu2+ + 2Q <> CuQ2, Think it has something to do with beer additive law and perhaps simultaneous equations. If someone could help me o…
