[/quote'] Oh, I don't know about that. The basics of particle accelerators aren't all that difficult compared to fusion. You could discuss the various designs and advantages/disadvantages (e.g. linear vs circular). SLAC, TRIUMF, CERN, DESY, the Tevatron at Fermilab - there are several. (pause to Google) Wow!
