Butanole 1 to Pentanoamide reactions

What i did is butanole to clorbutane then added NaCN which gave pentanenitryl ..now im stuck ..with hydrolysis will it give me pentanoamide or carboxylic acide? And what steps i need to do?

Going on memory here, but I think that the hydration of a nitrile to an amide is done under fairly mild conditions.
