can anyone tell me where i can find information on conductors , semi conductors and superconductors .

i am an engineering student and so i need very well explained info . and has to sort of detailed info .

hyperphysics has some good explanations (go to the solid state section for super-and semiconductors)

 

Eric Weisstein's world of physics also has some good explanations

 

If you want a really thorough foundations, though, you'll need to go to the library and read books.

If you are an engineering student, I highly recommend you get a copy of a good Materials Science text. Callister is excellent - worth buying, if you can.
