Can somebody help me with a math problems

Featured Replies

my problems is i got stuck while i was trying to find the domains of a function,

1) f(x)=(x^3)-(3x^2)+(2x)+5

2) g(x)=(x^2)+5/(x+2)

can anyone determine the domain of the two functions?

Thanks a lot!

try rephrasing your question. this isn't "homework answers", it is "homework help".

Try rephrasing your post to include some manners and politeness.

As for the actual problem; the first should be fairly obvious. The second is trickier; you can see that x = -2 yields an undefined value for g(x). This should give you a clue as to how to find the domain :)
