My vector algebra is ok since we calculate vector current and voltage for circuits, though this is 2 dimensional. All I know about vector calculus I have thought myself, but I have a good understanding of partial derivatives.

 

 

Electrical phasors are vectors in the mathematical sense but not in the sense of vector calculus or the grad, div and curl operators.

 

2D Euclidian vectors do not, for instance, have a cross product, any more than 4D vectors have.

 

The vector double and triple products are special to 3D.

Yes you are right, they are completely different concepts so that doesn't really count as experience, thanks for pointing that out.
