I fell behind at Uni due to a bereavement and I caught up with Inorganic and Physical Chemistry but Organic I am struggling very much...

 

I have to predict the major product of the attached... I believe it is using Cram's rule but I just do not get it! Any help is greatly appreciated

 

The first step before figuring out stereochemistry with Cram's rule is to identify the reaction and product. Have you done this? The Mg reagent should be a huge give-away.

Yea, right? The Mg pratically cries aloud with this kind of reaction...specifically, it a "Grignard reaction". All I can say it's a nucleophilic attack.

If you have already figured out that you can predict its stereochemistry using Cram's rule, you probably already know what kind of reaction occurs.

I can't see where you are stuck.
