alt_f13
"ye" is actually a different way of writing "the". "Th" was symbolised by a character that is indistinguishable from the modern "y". "The be warned?" Man' date=' pirates must have been stoopyd. [edit'] Aha. dictionary.com says ye1 ( P ) Pronunciation Key (th, y) def.art. Archaic The. ye2 ( P ) Pronunciation Key (y) pron. (used with a pl. verb) Archaic. You. So we can both be right. And hey, if the site is changed after I made the pretty buttons... I'd have to make them again, as I made them for this site. Sayonara
So we can both be right. Or, as a wacky alternative explanation, people who write things like "ye be warned" don't understand what they are writing.
ydoaPs
wait, i thouight dictionary.com was not a technical resource.
Sayonara
It isn't. But then "ye" isn't a technical term, is it?
Cap'n Refsmmat
Well, now that the buttons are back again, I must say it was a bit startling at first... I guess I'm just not used to them. I do like them though. Go alt_f13!
alt_f13
Or, as a wacky alternative explanation, people who write things like "ye be warned" don't understand what they are writing. Perhaps. But, I hold flavor with her Magistrate the Queen. So, ye be warned. Well, now that the buttons are back again, I must say it was a bit startling at first... I guess I'm just not used to them. I do like them though. Go alt_f13! Thanks man!!
atinymonkey
More new buttons? What's going on?
Dave
I made up a new batch of icons because I didn't think that the old ones fit in after the new style changes. I uploaded a batch quite a while ago (3-4 weeks) to gauge opinion, and they seemed to go down pretty well. I created another lot as well, but they've been sitting around on my hard-drive for a while since I haven't had the time to finish them off completely. There's still a couple that need to be replaced, but I should be able to either do this tonight or the day after. If people don't like them, then they can always be replaced by the old ones since they're all backed up
atinymonkey
Well, I was being polite about Alt F3's old ones, but I thought they were pretty poor. The new ones are pimp. Probably. But not bling. Nope, not without some gold in them.
Dave
I don't think the gold would go too well For your enjoyment purposes, the accompanying image is attached.
atinymonkey
Now that's bling . Upgrade the styles to 'wicked pimping', upload the new buttons and change the URL to foshizzle.net and we'll be storming. That's why we don't get Hawkins round here, he's westside to the bone.
