How do you define a true friend?

Featured Replies

in my opinion, the term "friend" changes for each individual. quite often, i base its meaning on an individual's own expectations.

if their own expectations do not match their actions, i cannot trust them as a friend. beyond that, anyone can be a friend of mine as long as it does not comprimise me personally.

Disregard the logical definitions, I would like to apply my emotions for this. You never know a stranger is a friend, a true friend specifically, until you realize that this certain person has proven herself as a worthy pedestal of your known 'friendship'. Though time could alter these 'proofs'.

A friend will help you move.

A true friend will help you move a body.

Anyone who will put up with me as a friend is not only a true friend but a saint.

A true friend is someone who'll stick with you when you're right and won't make you feel bad when you're wrong.

A true friend is usually there when you need them.

For me a true friend is the one who thinks humbly that -" I don't promise to solve all your problems, but i can promise you won't have to face them alone"
