Anyways from what I get is that although unlikely, this algae was reproducing during rainfalls and spores got into the atmosphere.

 

Anybody care to give ideas as to how it started breeding in clouds?

It wouldn't have known it was in a cloud. It was just doing what it always did.

That's what i'm saying John, I don't see why people are freaking out over it lol.
