Is networking an operating system?

Many people here will be quite happy to help if you show that you are at least trying to do your own work, but do not expect to be spoon-fed answers to your homework.

It is not homework sir, it is the question of my last exam but i have not found solution of that.

It would be a good start if you can define what, in your opinion, is networking and and what is an operationg system.

In my opinion Operating system is a system software which gives platform to run for all application programs and which act as the interface between user and computer. And the networking is the interconnection of computers by using a wired or wireless media. but what is the relation between networking and operating system.

Is networking an operating system? If yes how it works?

Good idea.

Similar.

Operating system -- A computer hardware connections+ software connections.

Networking --- Computers connections + other connections.
