Do you think this site is trustworthy?

I don't know where else to put this post so i'll put it here.

I'm trying to find out what the job outlook for paleontology will be for the next 10 years or so and I found this article. This site says that the outlook will be exelent but i don't know if I should trust it because I've been finding mixed opinions on different sites.

Thanks,

Austin

It doesn't say much really . . . . . neither does the following, but the following is a much better route to find what you are looking for:

Thank you very much for the information. I wish there was more information on this profession, I'm not finding too much

It's less of a profession and more of a specialization within the broader profession of Geoscientist.

Hello Austin,

Access to the globe has opened up greatly in the last twenty years. This has coincided with significant progress in the earth record, both paleontological and other rock sciences.

This has brought great opportunity.

However the work requires funding and the current world recession has brought belt tightening measures along with the financial examination of projects with a move towards those showing financial rewards.

So, if you can establish post somewhere there is much to be done. But be prepared to find mineral exploration in the fore.

go well

Although I believe this area of science is important for understanding the past so we can understand the future, I can definitely see why they would cut funding for it. It's not as important as some other areas of research.
