Any Ideas for making one out of coffee filters (too corse) and houshold materials?

I suggest you dont use a filter to get rid of the yeast, that makes the wine of less quality and sweet.You should find fining agents (bentonite) or egg whites, much better way to remove the suspended things.

why no use that multi-layered fabric used in fish tank filters, that`ll remove all types of crap and it`s as cheap as chips! :)

lol, I can be used for cat litter but its also a finer.

I depends on how you like your wine.
