Time Being Irrelevant

Featured Replies

How does the theory of time not being linear exist? We can only experience time in one direction. which would mean time is linear, because we cannot go back in time (yet) any help on this question would be much appreciated as it is something that i have wondered for quite some time and have never really found a good place to ask it. Sorry if this question has already been asked feel free to delete it or whatever the common procedure is here.

The arrow of time is a separate line of inquiry as the linearity of time.

Well where does the nonlinearity of time theory come from? I remember one of my teachers talking about how time isnt relevant it is just like a jumble to the universe or something along those lines.

It turns out that the speed of light is the same in all inertial frames of reference, which has effects on time and length.
