This simple shading illusion reminds us of our limited ability to accuratly process what we see.

Q: Could entanglement be one of those evolutionary adapatations? The double split expirement certianly suggest that simply observing the photons changes thier pattern but I wonder if that is just a rationality of our limited comprehension?

Someone shed a little light. (or at least what my limited concepts can process as light)

The illustration in your link has nothing to do with physics, but rather relates to neuroscience.

Your subsequent questions relate to nothing. If you want a light look here.

Wonderful site. (I had a look here also)

I'll have to check on my bookshelves for more examples.

The fact is: you cannot believe your eyes.

But as Mathematic wrote

Entanglement and double slit experiment are not optical illusions.

But but it may be some other kind of mother nature's trick.

For optical illusions, see the website of Jacques Ninio, author of "The science of illusions" 1998-2004 (the book on my shelf), have a look at the Illustration supplement (pdf)

Jacques Ninio is biologist director of research at CNRS (France).

Mother nature's trick is to use the laws of physics.
