I am a student in the UK in the 2nd year of her Genetics BSc degree. I thought I might join this forum to have some general genetics-based conversations with like-minded people! At the moment, I'm applying for a placement in Cambridge where I'd be studying the protein sequence analysis of mouse genomes! Very exciting, indeed! Nassar Jad Posted December 13, 2011 Share Posted December 13, 2011 Well, you can only see the genes while the cell is being devided, we add some colors to see it, but I doubt that will be done, it takes a long time and the results might look like nothing, we get a clear analysis very rarely. While I do work on the genomics/postgenomics field I tend to either work with bacteria or (oddly) human samples rather than mice.
