Ive recently upgraded to Windows XP

Now SFN chat wont work it just displays the jave mug in the widow

have you config`d it according to how DAVE outlined it in his IRC post?

 

there shouldn`t be ANY prob if you have done correctly

I have XP and it works perfectly.

 

It does pop up with a security window asking if you want to use it, though.

i use XP and its fine, if a problem persues, try obtaining mIRC which is a program which allows you to use SFN chat, rather than the applet. i think that it will be a browser or firewall problem as i can use it fine, although it may be SP2 (as i dont have it and new versions of XP do).

at which point you agree to accept stuff from the server people, theyre safe! its just a security precaution in case its a dodgy site, but it isnt coz you know what it is.

Also if you use Firefox you can get Chatzilla, which is rather nice.

Chatzilla's quite nice. I recommend X-Chat for windoze, I can't stand much else.
