To form an implosion you need a greater pressure outside a container than inside it, in the same way to create an explosion you need a greater pressure inside than outside. Ophiolite Posted June 18, 2011 Share Posted June 18, 2011 Therefore creating an implosion with antimatter would be of the same difficulty as creating an atomic explosion, apart from the technical issues of keeping the antimatter isolated until the desired moment.
