I am a first timer to this system. I hope to get your valued opnions to a very basic question. I am a first year student in Psychology in my first Psychology course...so this is basic stuff for the more expertise students in this area. I value your insight...so please go easy on me...

I want to gain more understanding of what this statement means in more depth. "Learning in all such realms breeds hope" this comes from an excerpt in powerpoint an additional learning tool for this course. I want to know more and could you direct me to research more of who wrote this...

Yeah, "such realms" implies that there was some talk of certain "realms" beforehand.

I'm a first year psych student, too. Some of this stuff might look pretty daunting at first, but I hope as we get more into it our understanding of the more complex concepts and ideologies will come easier. I wish you the best of luck.

I think what this means is that if we stop learning we stagnate, thereby losing hope. Also, learning can take us to unknown realms, places we would not otherwise encounter, thereby breeding hope and optimism where before there may have been none.

Looking at the date of the original post, I would say duchess is in the last semester of her third year by now.
