I like both projects. They are excellent models and if these people can make it look exactly like they propose, then we will have some NICE buildings. It doesn't matter how much greenery the daft buggers stuff in it to allow architects and politicians alike to employ mind-numbing 'celebrating life' rhetoric. Come on...I see why tress and greens wouldn't flourish in the middle of a polluted city, but it's a good start. If you look at the model there are trees and greens extanding from around the building to the river. Looks very nice. Chicago is also rebuilding Soilder Field and they are opening a 12 acre park around the stadium http://www.chicagobears.com/facility/index.cfm?cont_id=33687 (going to be the nicest in the U.S.).
