On the subject of the new forum - and I'm sure I say this a lot - I just don't think there's the interest in the subject to warrant a new forum for it. For the most part, the threads can go in the Applied Math forum.

yeah. we should have enough threads for it. for now, i thinnk it should go as dave said in applied or challenges section

If we merged all the chemistry sub-forums into one because of a lack of interest in the different topics, why would we make a new forum for a smattering of threads?

Im dont have a keen interest in it, but i would definitely like to learn some of the logic behind code breaking. I suppose I should talk to YT for that. But I really dont see any real harm in having one. But I gotta agree with Sayo

Yes i see the logic behind Sayonoras words and i'll post all the encryption forums in the Applied Maths section.
