Hitman47
From what is happening right now and what has happened in history competition seems to be everywhere.! To what extent is competition necessary for humankind?? Is it possible for everyone to be equal? Do you guys believe that it is feasible to live in a world without competition?? fafalone
There will always be competition, at least in the imaginable future (millions of years). In order for our race to have no competition, we would need zero population growth or limitless resources, and no other species could compete for those resources with us. Giles
The trick will be designing a society in which competition is a purely positive thing. With respect to certain resources in certain nations, we are already approaching the situation that fafalone describes.
liljohnak
its impossible even if all the resources were met because ppl need compition even if it is with is themselves. like if i had all my needs met then i would get wants and wants are endless and wasteful (as far as survival goes). but there will never be a time of contentment in our species unless we alter our mind set to just fill our needs and forget our wants.
