William Gibson

Any other William Gibson fans here?

I'm presently reading Idoru, the second book in the Bridge Trilogy. For some reason every time I've cracked open a new William Gibson book I've managed to read 100 pages of it in a day.

Every novel since i got hooked on Neuromancer when I was a teen and the net was still ascii. I think the only novel I didn't loved was the difference engine. But I cannot recall why.

I've only read Spook Country, Neuromancer, Count Zero and Pattern Recognition. Out of those I probably enjoyed Count Zero the least. Any advice on which I should get round to reading next?

I'd suggest reading Mona Lisa Overdrive so you can finish off the Bridge Trilogy. After that... Virtual Light?

I guess you mean the Spawl trilogy :P I actually had no idea Neuromancer and Count Zero were part of a trilogy, I guess the editions I was reading didn't make that clear.

Err whoops, yes the Sprawl Trilogy. Sorry, just read the Bridge Trilogy for the first time recently (Virtual Light is the first book) so it's still fresh in my brain.

I really liked the Difference Engine. However, I must say I recently reread it because I did not finish it the first time around. It is a difficult book to get through.

It's also coauthored by Bruce Sterling, who I really like but maybe you didn't...
